Featuring Friday: Sooner Designer...*

Hi guys! I know I haven't done a feature in a few weeks but I'm just trying to get back in track getting back to school to do my Masters and a bunch of other stuff going on. So this week feature is Sooner Design a great shop from Etsy here are some questions I made to her :).

1)What’s Sooner Designer all about?
Memories. If you're going to send a card, why not send a special one that can be saved for years to come. Since many of them look scrapbooked already, why not add them to yours? Or for those who don't scrapbook, they could be framed! Additionally, you could store them in one of my hand bound keepsake books. Perhaps you like to jot down notes, but don't know what to do with your journals once they're full. I have the perfect solution: refillable journals & refillable notepads!

2)What made you open your etsy shop?
In April of this year, we were hosting a birthday party at my home and several people suggested I try selling my cards on Etsy. That's when I decided to give it a shot.

3)What inspires your designs?
I love the classics that never go out of style (pearls, lace, black); vibrant items that fill you with energy; and just enough trend to keep you on the lookout for the next big thing. These are the sort of things that inspire me.

4)What’s your favorite item from your shop?
I absolutely love my hand bound keepsake books! I carry one around in my purse for coupons and constantly get compliments about it. Other uses for them include holding receipts, organizing notes, addresses, recipes, photos, used as an art book, separating your money to help you budget, given as a gift for weddings, baby showers, graduations, you name it!

5)Any new ideas coming for your shop?
I plan on offering artist sketchbooks filled with watercolor paper and diaries soon!

6)Any advice for other sellers?
Have fun! If you love what you do, it shows in your work.

7)What's your favorite holiday and why?
I can't pick just one favorite, but like most people I love Christmas. I love making my own gifts and spending time with family. I also have a great time decorating and looking at all of the displays around town.
